SN74AVC2T45: SN74AVCxT45 switching characteristics 3.3V to 1.2V

Part Number: SN74AVC2T45
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AVCH1T45, SN74AXC1T45, SN74AVC2T245, , SN74AVCH2T45, SN74AVC1T45

Dear support community,

We recently started a new project on a protocol which has to have a certain accuracy at high speed.

With this project, we want to send a CLK from 3.3V to 1.2V and the SN74AVC1T45, SN74AVC2T45, SN74AVCH1T45, SN74AVCH2T45, SN74AVC2T245 and SN74AXC1T45 caught our attention.

However, since we need to compare the different chips, the minimum and maximum switching characteristics with other chips are shown while only the typical values for the SN74AVCxT45 series is known.

So I was wondering if these values are available, because they are given with the SN74AXC1T45.

Kind regards,

Lex van de Wiel

  • Hi Lex,

For 1-bit Clock translation the SN74AXC1T45 will be your best option. Also, I believe all but one have typical delay plots right after the tables. The one that doesn't (SN74AVC2T245) you can use the plot for SN74AVCH2T245 as the delay added from the bus-hold circuitry is negligible.
