SN74AUP2G17: Probability of max current consumption

Hello,

The datasheet for this device does not provide the typical current consumption at 25C and 85C.  I am interested in these values.  Furthermore, I am very interested in obtaining data that shows the probability that a device will draw the max amount of current (0.9 uA) at 85C.  Do you have any data that you can share or is there a way to estimate the likelihood that this device will draw 0.9 uA at 85C?

    We can only guarantee that the device will draw less than or equal to the maximum value. The value in the datasheet covers variations in process, voltage, and temperature.

    I understand what the max value represents, however, given that it is a guarantee that the device will not draw more current leads me to conclude the value of the max current draw is very conservative and therefore unlikely to be the case in an actual application. If we try to calculate the max current consumption in a low power design comprising multiple components, all drawing their stated maximum amount of current, we would have to greatly oversize the battery. This is something I am trying to avoid, so I'm hoping there is some additional data that can be shared.

    I don't have any statistical data on the supply current of the AUP family of parts.

    In the AUP family, since the device was designed for maximum power savings, the Icc specs aren't very conservative at all. In typical cases, we see about 300 nA consumed, and over all variations, 900 nA doesn't give much headroom. I know this because we looked into tightening this spec about 2 years ago, and came to the conclusion that we couldn't. Unfortunately I can't find the old emails with the details. Sorry I'm not more help.
