SN74AVCA406E: Restriction of Vcca and Vccb of SN74AVCA406E

Hello team,

My customer used the SN74AVCA406 before, but they would like to change into SN74AVCA406E.

It has a restriction on Vcca and Vccb voltage level at the datasheet of SN74AVCA406 .

VCCB >= VCCA

Is it still an necessity requirement for SN74AVCA406E or not ? Because we didn't find the similar restriction at the datasheet of SN74AVCA406E.

The customer also would like to know the below part number of power mux of translation solution for SD3.0 which is coming from below link.

Hi Feng,

There is no restriction on the Vccb supply to be greater than or equal to Vcca on the SN74AVCA406E.

Also, it should be noted here that the SDR50 mode is not guaranteed on the SN74AVCA406E as the datasheet has 95 MHz fmax listed.
