Hi Deepak,

It is not recommended that the output go above 5.5 V.

The output can be pulled up to any voltage, up to 5 V, regardless of VCC.

What if my VCC is 15 V. Can i pull it to 12 V pulse?

The absolute maximum ratings for VCC and VO are 6.5 V; higher voltages will fry the chip.

GOT IT, VCC IS 5 V, HOWEVER WE CAN PULL UP THE PULSE OUTPUT TO ANY SUITABLE VOLTAGE

The pull-up voltage is applied to the output pin; you must not pull up to any voltage higher than 6.5 V.

To get a higher output voltage, use an inverter (e.g., SN74AHC1G04) in front of a discrete transistor, or use the CD40109B.
