Is there an simple method to have the SN74HC4060 counter automatically stop after a certain number of counts? We would like to minimize the number and cost of any additional external devices. For example, could one of the high division outputs like Qn be used to disable the RC clock with a passive connection like a diode or maybe a simple signal FET?
