Hi,

Just wondering if SN74LVC07ARGY (QFN) thermal pad is internally connected to GND and can increase max total GND current?

    The current is limited by this device's internal circuitry and bond wires, not by the external solder connections. You always have to stay inside the absolute maximum ratings. And going beyond the recommended operating conditions will increase the voltage drop to what is probably too much.

    Consider using a low-side switch instead.
