SN54LS32: RHA numbers/radiation testing

Part Number: SN54LS32
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN54LS08-SP, , , SN54LS08

Hi,

I was wondering if there are any of the RHA codes for the SNJ prefixed parts. Do these parts (SNJ54LS32FK and SNJ54LS08FK) have any radation testing done on them or any RHA numbers(Total Dose and Single Event)?

Thanks!

Adam

  • Hi,

Hi Adam, the parts you have mentioned are mil grade parts and TI typically does not perform radiation testing on mil or commercial grade products.

Here is document that explains the part numbers and how to figure out what the RHA rating is for the part numbers that are RHA tested.3872.DLA Standard Microcircuit Drawings (SMD) and JAN Part Numbers FAQ.pdf

    Thanks!

  • Thanks Karan,

That's interesting that those are mil parts, thought they would be space grade parts since I got them off of SN54LS08-SP and SN54LS32-SP datasheets.

Since it looks like not all of the orderable part numbers on those datasheets are space grade parts, could you send me a list of orderable part numbers of the SN54LS08-SP and SN65LS32-SP that are space grade?

  • Hi,

There are some military parts within the mix of space parts. The best way to have sorted the SP parts would be to click the Quality and packaging tab under the product folder.

    JM38510/30501SCA
    JM38510/30501SDA
    M38510/30501SCA
    M38510/30501SDA
These are the SP parts for the SN54LS32.
The D and C in the titles represent the the difference in packages and the JM38510 is the process flow.

    JM38510/31004SCA
    JM38510/31004SDA
    M38510/31004SCA
    M38510/31004SDA
Similarity these are the SP part numbers for the SN54LS08.

    Thanks!
