SN74LV4T125: Concern with IC functionality with no VCC

Part Number: SN74LV4T125

Hi Team,

I received an inquiry from one customer that they faced issues with their MP product where the SN74LV4T125 fails due to the connected motor has a rise and fall time that is too slow for the SN74LV4T125. They are looking into disabling the SN74LV4T125 by turning off the Vcc during the startup and shutdown of the motor, they just want to confirm that will there be any issues that the input pins are exposed to the signals from the motor while the Vcc is not powered? Also, will  there be any internal leakage that could power on the IC Vcc via signal line's voltage state?

Thanks!

BR,

Alfred
