SN74LVC1G240: Output in low when /OE is high

Part Number: SN74LVC1G240
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC1G02

Hi Team,

In datasheet listed that when /OE pin is high and Output would be high impendence. Due to the system needs to make sure the output is low during system bring up and keep a period until system to send and set /OE to low (Initial  /OE is high set by system ).  Could we use a pull down resistor to let and set the output is low?  Or any recommended for this one?

Note.  a NOR gate SN74LVC1G02 can achieve it but it didn't have /OE control.

Best regards,

Albert Lee.
