Hi,

I'd like to ask about SN74HC14.

Is there input frequency limitation for this device?

My customer concerns if SN74HC14 is damaged when input higher frequency.

I believe there is no limitation other than "Absolute Maximum Ratings".

The part would not be damaged if you went beyond its operating frequency it would just fail to function properly.

The max frequency for SN74HC is about 25 to 30 Mhz at 5V and about 15 at 3.3V.

If they need to go to Higher frequency they should look at other families that can go much higher frequency.
