Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LSF0108
Hi,
Pins at A& B side (No:3,4,5,6 ) having Terminator in IBIS model. But we need IO for those pins to perform Level translator operation. Kindly help us to resolve this issue.

Hello Anitha,
First, I wanted to include your comments regarding the LSF0108 in this thread so we have it all in one place:
IBIS model having 1.2V, 1.8V, 2.5V 3.3V & 5V. But we need a level translator of 3.3V to 1.05V. But in IBIS model there is no 1.05V. And also Pins at A& B side (No:3to 18) having Terminator. But we need IO for those pins to perform Level translator operation. Could you please help us to resolve this issue. And please provide the IBIS model for LSF0108 which supports 1.05V also.
The LSF family of translators uses passive translation - ie the LSF device does not include any type of driver. An IBIS model doesn't accurately portray how the device functions in your system since it can't possibly know how much drive strength the actual driver has -- it only knows how much drive strength there was when we tested it (and it has a lot since we test it in a lab setting). I have a simulation that better represents the LSF device here:
I would highly recommend watching this video series to understand how the LSF works: Logic Minute
