SN54AC244: SN54AC244 : what is different between SN54 and SNJ54?

Part Number: SN54AC244

Dear TI experts,

According to SN54AC244 datasheet, there is only SNJ54 and SN74 ordering number.

There is no SN54 series. But the title is SN54AC244.

I want to find SN54 series information.

Are they same parts SN54 and SNJ54?

If they are same parts, why did you add J ?

The "J" is not part of the device name itself, but only of the orderable part number (which also includes suffixes for things like package type or tape/reel size).

The "SNJ" prefix indicates MIL-PRF-38535 qualification; see www.ti.com/pdfs/hirel/hirel_product_nomenclature.pdf.
