RM57L843: how to write TQP Template on SafeTI_CQKit_ARM_v1.2.0_ARM_20.2

SAFETI_CQKIT: TQP and TQR document templates are almost identical. This is not addressed in the instructions.

I am severely confused with the TQP and TQR document templates included in SafeTI_CQKit_ARM_v1.2.0_ARM_20.2 being almost identical.

  • I agree that it is sensible to have a plan and a report.
  • I agree that TQR is a viable template for the report.
  • I am not sure that TQP is a viable template for the plan.
  • I have done the instrumented compilation and already received the (gap free) report back from TI.
  • I have done the known issues analysis for all 111 open issues known for the version that I use and formulated mitigations where required.
  • Now I still have this TQP topic open and I have absolutely no clue what I am supposed with that template. The template and even its highlights are almost identical to the TQR one. That seems excessively redundant. The instructions are not clarifying this concern either. 

Could you please clarify what I am supposed to do with the TQP template? The rest seems pretty clear to me.

    OK. I am suspecting now that this is a DEFECT in SafeTI_CQKit_ARM_v1.2.0_ARM_20.2. When I install e.g. SafeTI_CQKit_ARM_v1.1.2_ARM_18.12, it has a different TQP. Yes, it has been reworked between the two versions, but there the differences between TQP and TQR make sense (like no analysis/results chapters in the plan).

    It looks to me as if there was a copy-paste mistake whilst preparing SafeTI_CQKit_ARM_v1.2.0_ARM_20.2 on TI/Validas end (two versions of TQR included instead of one TQR and one TQP).

    Will there be a fix available soon or can you provide the correct TQP upfront here?

    Please also note that the TQR (20.2) makes reference to the TQP section 5 (as generated by the user per [TQP] section 5).

    This would be a correct reference into the old TQP (18.1) but not into the suspected defect TQP (20.2). Section tiles are:

    • TQP (18.1) section 5: Validation Check -> instructions, makes sense in the context of the reference
    • TQP (20.2) section 5: Qualification Analysis (Example) -> example for results, makes no sense in the context of the reference

    Thank you for notifying us of this problem.  It appears your analysis is mostly correct.  I filed EXT_EP-12814 to have this investigated.  You are welcome to follow it with that link.

    In your ticket you say:"TQP makes sense as a plan template.  TQR does not make sense as a report template."

    But I suspect it to be the other way around (see first post). I suspect the PLAN template to be defective. Don´t tell me otherwise, I am almost done filling in the REPORT Stuck out tongue winking eye.

    Julian,

    Thanks for your inputs. We are incorporating your feedback in the next release of QKIT documents.
    For the redundancy you mention, you should be able to delete the results "example" sections 4,5,6 in the TQP.docm qualification plan document.
