MCU-PLUS-SDK-AM273X: Unable to flash

Howdy. I am currently working on flashing to a xTIDA-020047 board using a USB but whenever I run a batch file to flash it, I get this error.

What seems strange is that this process worked once yesterday but I am unable to decipher any variables that were different. I seem to have the exact same flash setup as then.

(1) The board is in flash mode

(2) I checked to make sure the batch file uses the correct port (UART for the xTIDA board is on port 4)

If anyone can provide some guidance on this I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hi David,

I can help you with this. I wanna confirm few things,

1. Can you please make sure any kind of serial terminals or CCS studio or any other IDE's/Applications already opened the COM port you're trying to access? If yes, please kill all of them and make sure only the command prompt is being run.

2. What is the flash mode you're trying to use? I believe it should be QSPI boot mode.

3. Are you using AM273x-EVM board? If yes, can you please make sure you're having the USB cable connected to the FTDI USB port and not the XDS USB port? You can find more details in the Section 3.5 and Section 2.3 of this document AM273x EVM User's Guide (ti.com.cn)

Please try these and if the issue still persists we can try to debug further.

Thanks! The issue was that I had the serial terminal open on CCS studio.
