EtherCAT will work only on E and F parts. In SDK, there are two examples for EtherCAT. One based on EtherCAT SubDevice Stack Code (SSC) version 5.13 from Beckhoff and other based on pre-integrated stack. First one will work on both E and F part, second one will work only on F part.

For C type, the PRU-ICSSG is enabled, right? The difference is that it doesn't include the industrial communication FW? Only firmware I think it is no need for a further PN? 

As shown in the table you have attached, C does not support the interfaces listed in the corresponding table row.
