We spent a lot of time searching for the cause, and finally realized that the size of the memory structure brought into the mailbox was a multiple of four.

The modified code was installed on 5 devices, and they ran without shutting down for 90 days without crashing.

Hi Charles:

Access to the TM4C's internal EEPROM is also similar,

the size of the data structure should be a multiple of 4,

otherwise there will be inexplicable data loss.

The fact that data is stored in memory and needs to be aligned is very important,

but developers often tend to overlook such a small thing and suffer in the search for the bug.

Again, thanks for the tips. Have you tried to add the 'Align(32) directives to the SECTIONS. Does it help resolve the issue? See below snippet example.

Hi Charles:

We didn't use the way you mentioned to align the data, thanks for telling me that there is such a way.

Manual checking method: use the sizeof function before passing the data to the Read and Write of EEPROM API.
