CAN libraries for KEIL ARM MDK

Dear all,

I plan to design a microcontroller based safety using the RM46L852 with full CAN functionality. For the programming I want to use the ARM MDK from KEIL. Is there a possibility to get the CAN libraries without buying the very expensive MDK-Professional version?

Hello Thomas,

Unfortunately, we don't have influence on the distribution of materials for our thrid party tools suppliers. Dependent on your implementation needs, you may want to have a look at the drivers that can be created with the HalCoGen code generation tool. These may be enough to start you on the path of generating your own drivers for CAN. HalCoGen can be found at the following link:

You would obviously have to speak to Keil for questions about Keil products!

However, using Keil MDK does not restrict you to only using Keil's CAN library. Other providers exist - Keil list some of them here: http://www.keil.com/links/tpl/can.asp
