Hello,

I hope someone can help me.

I am trying to config all the EMIF Pins of my TMS570LC4357 as GIO Pins. Unfortunately neither in Halcogen nor in the datasheet I can find any information about this. Is it possible to use all the EMIF Pins as GIO?

I have already used the N2HET Pins as GIO Pins without any problems. Instead of hetreg1 I used hetPORT1 but there isn't any definition for a EMIF Port. How to config EMIF as GIO?

Werner,

The EMIF module does not have (like other module) the capability to be used as basic GIO pins.
Anyway, EMIF terminals are multiplex with other module so GIO can be done via the multiplex function.
Please have a look to the Data Sheet to find the multiplexing scheme available on this device.

Hi Werner,

I don't think EMIF pins can be configured as GIO pins. You can check which all pins can be configured as GIO in the Datasheet (Section 3.2.1). The "Description" column in this table will say which pins can be configured as "GIO" for each peripheral.
