Over the air update for Hercules

      There are wireless JTAG emulators that support Hercules such as the USB510W.

      Here is a link to a Hercules Wiki post LAUNCHXL2_RM57L:_CC3100_Wi-Fi_Demo.

      This post expands the CC3100 (Wifi) functionality to the Hercules devices.

      There is an OTA demo for using a web service to update the CC3100s off chip 4MB SPI flash.

      Then you'd have to integrate the Hercules F021 Flash API to use that service to update the Hercules on-chip flash.
