RM57L843: Integration of R57L843 to communicate with CANape tool over XCP

Hi team,

We have created a software for RM57L843 which can be communicated with Client Application via Ethernet (UDP).

Now, I want to use CANape tool instead of current Client Application using Ethernet interface to monitor the Variables inside MCU.

As the documents for CANape mentioned XCP protocol, is there any library support for using XCP protocol for TI controllers?

What changes need to be added in the current software to make it communicate with CANape?

Please guide me in this.

If someone have any reference material regarding CANape communication with MCU, Please share.

Hello Pratik,

Our devices include CAN modules, EMAC and other serial ports like SPI, UART & I2C. However, we don’t have any s/w libraries for XCP.

Thanks for the above information.

As documentation for XCP mentioned that "It is necessary to integrate an XCP driver in MCU software" to make it communicate with CANape tool via XCP protocol.

As there are no any s/w library for XCP, and if we want to make MCU to communicate with CANape tool via XCP over ethernet interface.

What should be the approach for this integration of XCP driver for RM57Lx?

Is this communication between MCU and CANape tool via XCP is possible?

As I said, we don't have XCP driver and we don't have expertise for XCP integration.
