Dear Champs,

I am asking this for our customer.

We have example codes for custom boot pin configuration on F28004x, but we don't see it for F28002x.

C:\TI\c2000\C2000Ware_3_04_00_00\driverlib\f28004x\examples\boot

Would you please show me where it is?

If it's not yet published but we have beta codes, please let us know because the user needs it soon for trial run for production.

I haven't been able to locate anyone in the office today familiar with this. I can try again on Monday if help is still needed.

Having said that,

Looking at the custom boot mode options in the Technical Reference Manual (TRM) for the F28004x and the TRM for F28002x they seem to be nearly identical. I suspect that the same code will likely work for F28002x as well. Refer to Section 4.3 and 4.4 of the F28002x TRM and section 4.3 of the F28004x TRM.

Dear Lori,

The user's intention is to change the default SCI boot pins from GPIO28/29 to GPIO2/3.

If we don't have the full project example, is it possible to show us the necessary codes for this change?

F28002x is exactly same as F28004x in terms of custom boot configuration. even if we give code snippets, it will be same as in boot_ex2_customBootConfig.c of F28004x.

Do you see any specific issue while following F28004x example ?

Dear Baskaran,

So you mean that the user can just refer to "boot_ex2_customBootConfig.c of F28004x" for modifying from GPIO28/29 to GPIO2/3 for SCI boot because they are the same example between F28004x and F28002x.

Is my understanding correct?
