Saving parameters: Flash or EEProm?

Hello Forum,

I wonder when there is need for saving custom parameters, do you prefer an external eeprom or just the onchip flash of the C2000?

Customer can use either. External EEPROM is way easier, but more costly. For on chip flash you need to use techniques like what is described in the following app note: http://focus.ti.com/lit/an/sprab69/sprab69.pdf .
