TMS320F28069: Disable flash of TMS320F28069

Hello all.

We are currently working on implementing a bootloader for a TMS320F28069 chip.
The erasing and flashing all works well and as intended, but we couldn't find a way to turn off the flash before we jump into the application.
Is it correct that this is just not needed for this specific chip or did we miss something in the Flash API/Doc?

There is no hard requirement to power down the flash in normal operation, the API will disable any modes necessary to program/erase when it exits so nothing required on your part.

You can power down the flash for some current/power savings, (18mA on the VDD and 13mA on the VDDIO) but this is typically only done when switching into a low power mode. This section in the TRM documents this feature if that is of interest. Note that there is a wakeup time incurred coming out of this state, which gets triggered automatically on a read to the flash address space
