What the the MCU needs regarding CPU speed (MHz), #PWM channels, #ADC channels, any specific interface peripherals? Any additional details on the application will also help narrow down a C2000 real-time MCU to suggest.

We are using TMS320F2838x MCU and we are using quadrature encoders for the input and trying to establish communication between these two same type MCUs using wifi module

You would need some sort of chipcon wifi modules. They would talk to F2838x over serial port.
