F28M35H52C: Programming data to specified flash location using UniFlash

Hello,

We are using UniFlash tool to load image to the F28M35H52C dual core controller.

We need to write values to a particular memory sector (sector B) which will carry some settings information for the system to run even for the first time.

How can we use Uniflash tool to write to particular memory section (we don't need an executable binary in that sector. Only to load the settings).

If Uniflash wouldn't support it, does TI support any other Flash write tool?

Please search for "How can we program a field in USER OTP?" in this FAQ: https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000-microcontrollers-group/c2000/f/c2000-microcontrollers-forum/951668/faq-faq-on-flash-api-usage-for-c2000-devices

You can use it for any sector (not just for USER OTP).

You can either make it a separate image or you can include it in your executable binary.

Thanks for the response Vamsi. We are yet to try this one. We are currently working on this issue

We will start with the OTP write once we resolve the above issue. I will update you further.

Since the other issues are pending, we are not able to test the UniFlash issue.

Is it possible to keep this issue in backlog - till we can really test it?

Definitely Vamsi. We actually looked into the suggestion.

We couldn't try it out on the actual device yet.
