Hii,

Iam working on F28069 controller for DC-DC converter application.

I am facing problem with CAN communication between two nodes ( one node F28375S, other node F28069 )

when Converter OFF, transmit and receive is fine.

whenever converter ON, Receive is fine bit transmit acknowledgement ISR is not receive in F28069 side even i am retry to sent Message again ( CANTRS is set in ).

This situation is not come back even converter OFF condition also. we need to recycle supply to card .

I regret the problem description is not clear. Please download my Application report http://www.ti.com/lit/spra876. It has many tested examples (including ones for interrupt handling). Note that the examples were written for the TMS320F28335 device. However, they can be easily adopted for any 28x device with eCAN, provided you take care of the change in SYSCLKOUT speed and the resultant changes warranted for the CANBTC register. I request you to look at the Debug tips provided. Most CAN issues can be resolved by going through this checklist.

Thanks for sharing document.

I have got some line related to my problem.

At page 4 ,

When the transmitting node does not receive an ACK, it results in an ACK error and the transmitting node keeps re-transmitting the frame forever. The Transmit Error Counter (TEC) will increment to 128 and stop there. REC stays at 0. Node will not go bus-off. In this situation, the TA bit for the transmitting mailbox does not get set. No interrupts will be generated either. If another node is brought into the network, the TEC will start decrementing (all the way to 0) with every successful transmit.

This is exactly happens in my case. but ,No Transmit interrupt is not generate. So, how can I ignore or retry push messages when above scenario happens.

Retransmission in case of lack of ACK is automatic. It cannot be disabled in this module. I strongly urge you to try out all the examples in SPRA876. This will help you to get a better understanding of the eCAN module.

The TRM chapter explains the CAN protocol implementation in the MCU. i.e. it explains the functions of the various registers/bits. However, it does not explain the protocol itself. For protocol information, refer to these excellent videos:
