Hello TI-Team,

is it allowed to read an GPIO configured as output using the c2000 Ware?

Background: I have a feedback signal telling me whenever a certain signal is set low. I want to compare if my output signal is in state 0 or state 1. If it is in state 1 and my feed back is state 0 I know an external security event occured driving my signal low.

I can use the read function on my GPIO configured as output to get my output state, but I cannot find if this is allowed. If it is not allowed I would simply shadow my output state, but if possible I would like to work without shadowing. So far it seems to work by just calling the read routine.

I already checked that the read and write routine are routed to different registeres.
