Dear champs,

I am asking this for our customer.

The user is looking for a low-cost MCU that can support both real-time control and Ethernet for UL1998/IEC60730 class B or higher.

Does TMS320F2838x support IEC60730/UL1998 class B or better?

It seems F2837x can support it up to class C.

So can F2838x support that?

    Hi Wayne,

    Yes, we're targeting the same level of safety with the F2838x as we do on the F2837x. Our safety collateral for F2838x is still a work in progress--we expect to start releasing the documentation and software end of 3Q/early 4Q.
