Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who wants to use TMS320F28375S as alternative to TMS320F28075 as this is out of stock. I already send the difference between the two devices and the customer is ok for the compromise. However he wants to know about how the PWM and timer works and change. Is TMS320F28375S is good as alternative for TMS320F28075? Please advise. Thank you very much.

    Yes, TMS320F28375S can be used as alternative to TMS320F28075. The former has a 200MHz CPU while the later runs at 120MHz. PWM and Timer modules work in the same way in both MCUs and so your s/w can be mostly reused with changes in the driver library (F28377 driver lib instead of F28075 driver lib). Both MCUs have similar number of PWM channels.

    Ray,

    The devices were designed to be code compatible so it might be worth a try to load the F28075 binary directly into the F28375 without any modifications.
