Hi E2E,
Please help our customer regarding the error encountered in using the TMS320F28375D on CCS, here are the details:
At the moment I am trying to get communication with the TMS320F28375DPZPS. I use Jtag TMS320-XDS100v3_UM-336636 and the program Code Composer to communicate with the Microcontroller. The JTAG and the BOOT Mode are implemented on the board. According to the datasheet, the wait mode must be configured, so that the watchdog reset is not triggered. I get an error message. Despite the correct switch settings, I get the previously mentioned error. I also measured the reset with an oscilloscope, that shows a voltage value of 300mV. Moreover, in Code Composer the Verify function was tested, but there was no error message. Could you possibly help me with this?

Thank you for the assistance.
Regards,
Carlo
Carlo,
Looking closer it looks like there is no error. What is boot mode it is using? In previous post, it says error -1137, device is held in reset state.
is this custom board or TI controlCARD?
Hello Santosh,
Please see the attached the logs. log file.docx
Here is the response of our customer: I use a custom board. In the Technical Reference Manual I read (page 604) that every time a boot sequence is executed when a certain type of reset is activated. TMS320F2837xD Dual-Core Microcontrollers pdf document (page 196) i found the configuration settings. The use of the switch makes sure, that the right mode is selected, but honestly, I am not sure if my understanding is right.

Carlo,
Can you ask customer to check the status of XRS pin?
He is using external XDS100v3 emulator, right? Can he share target configuration file (.ccxml) ?
What is boot mode the board is configured? Can he put the board in 'Wait Boot' mode and then try.
Hello Santosh,
Unfortunately, I did not receive any response from our customer. Thank you for your assistance.
