I am not getting the warning now when I build but the error is this.

To clarify, the program loads if I set RAM as the active configuration.

Please enable verbose output mode available at the bottom of the On-chip flash plugin (CCS debug view -> Tools -> On-chip flash) and provide the console output to us.

Regarding the warning: If the output section is not specified, then it can get mapped anywhere (even in DCSM OTP if it is defined and nothing is mapped there).  It can cause problems if it gets mapped to unwanted locations.

Does this warning occur for the example you pulled in from C2000Ware?  If yes, please provide the path and I can check with the team.

C28xx_CPU1: If erase/program (E/P) operation is being done on one core, the other core should not execute from shared-RAM (SR) as they are used for the E/P code. Also, CPU1 will be halted to determine SR ownership for the CPU which will run the Flash Plugin code, after which CPU1 will be set to run its application. User code execution from SR could commence after both flash banks are programmed.

C28xx_CPU1: Perform a debugger reset and execute the Boot-ROM code (click on the RESUME button in CCS debug window) before erasing/loading the Flash.  If that does not help to perform a successful Flash erase/load, check the Reset cause (RESC) register, NMI shadow flag (NMISHDFLG) register and the Boot-ROM status register for further debug.

This project was created using a version of compiler that is not currently installed - 15.12.1.LTS [C2000]. Another version of the compiler will be used during build - 18.12.7.LTS. See 'Help > Install New Software' and select 'Code Generation Tools Updates' to check if this compiler is available through a CCS update. Visit <a href="liveaction:OpenAppCenter">CCS App Center</a> to get the latest compiler support. I am using 10.1 version.

My debug window is not opening since it closes as soon as the load error comes.

I asked you for the C2000Ware version (not for the CCS version).

Are you saying that the CCS crashes when you get the load error?  If not, please provide the verbose console output.

As soon as the load error comes, the debug window closes and thats why I cannot access this onchip flash command.

For c2000, the version is C2000Ware_3_03_00_00

I took a look at your map file.  Looks like you mapped something to DCSM zone1 and zone2 areas.  Is that intentional?

I will ask our team to check the example from the C2000Ware version that you specified.  Did you make any changes in the example before you got this warning?  Or Are you using the example as-is?

Yes I tried the example as it is without any changes. The DCSM mapping is unintentional.

Have you included the F2837xD_Headers_BIOS_cpu1.cmd file in your project. This maps sections to respective memories.
