Hi Team,

Our customer is currently using the TMDSCNCD28379D controlcard with the docking station and they're currently using the on-chip ADCs. However, they need an extension ADC EVM to use with the controlcard. Besides the analog inputs available in the F28379D, the application requires 4 more differential analog inputs. And they'd also would like to have ~10 analog inputs as a buffer in case they would be needing more in the future.

Can you help us check if there's an extension ADC board already implemented with the control card? Sort of an easy way to solve this query without having to use discrete ADC chips and do all the design and soldering.

    Jejomar,

    I'm not aware of any such ADC board for the controlCARD. I would doubt such a board exists given the controlCARD standard is very unique to C2000.

    Your customer may have better luck finding an ADC board compatible with the LAUNCHXL-F28379D LaunchPad. The LaunchPad standard is widely used across different TI products. There is a chance there is an ADC board that supports this standard and can plug directly into the LAUNCHXL-F28379D.

    My suggestion would be for the customer to select some ADC solution candidates from TI's catalog (https://www.ti.com/data-converters/adc-circuit/overview.html), then review the available evaluation boards for those devices to see which are LaunchPad compatible.
