Hello,

We have to enter the Motor Max Current (A) in the InstaSPIN-FOC GUI for the parameter identification. I am working with TMDSHVMTRINSPIN board using the control card TMDSCNCD28069MISO.

In the PMSM data sheet, there is a rated current (2.7 A) and the maximum current (8.1 A).

Which current should be used for the parameter identification as the maximum current.

    Please follow the instaspin lab guide to run the related labs within CCS, and set the USER_MOTOR_MAX_CURRENT to the right value in user.h according to the motor spec.

    The maximum current is the maximum output torque current of the motor that are not the both value you mentioned above. You might set it to the 1.5~2 times of the rated current.
