TMS320F280049: Trip one-shot flag and clear

Part Number: TMS320F280049

Dear Champs,

I am asking this for our customer.

If the user uses

CMPSS1->PWM1 DCAEVT1.force->TZOSTFLG.DCAEVT1 and TZFLG.OST

Questions:

1. TZOSTFLG.DCAEVT1 is the source of TZFLGTZFLG.OST. Is it right?

2. When we clear the flags manually, we should clear them both, that is, by both TZOSTCLR.DCAEVT1 and TZCLR.OST? Is it right?

3. The order to clear them should be TZOSTCLR.DCAEVT1 first then TZCLR.OST if TZOSTFLG.DCAEVT1 is the source of TZFLG.OST. Is it right?

  • Hi Wayne,

    I need to confirm this and will provide you a response tomorrow.

    1. If that is the only OST event enabled.

    2. Clear the flags only after the condition has been removed from DCAEVT1. (check the signal to make sure it is no longer valid)

    3. Yes clear both. But also remember that in the TZFLG the DCAEVT flag will also be set alongside OST flag.
