TMS320F28375D: load program error in flash

1) For this device, passwords are in below address range (copied from TRM) and not at the address range that you showed in your snapshot.  Can you check what values are present at below password locations in the memory window?

2) One clarification please: When you program the device first time using windows machine, are you able to re-program the same device on windows if not on the mac?

No once I use mac I am unable to program the controller with windows after that.

I don't see any corruption in password locations.  

My question is different:  I am not asking about mac.  When you program the device first time using the windows machine, are you able to re-program the same device on windows without any issue?

I actually have not tried that since I checked on MAC right afterwards and then it started giving me load error. So does this mean that the device is not locked?

Device is not locked.

If you need further analysis from us, please send us the error details and may be logs as well.

Generating debug server logs might help for further debug. You can generate the logs via "CCS Help menu -> CCS Support -> Select Debug Server Log -> Click on Properties -> Select Enable Debug Server Logging + Choose a log file location -> Click Ok". Please generate and share them.

What is the CCS version used?  Hope you are using the latest one.

MAC OS Big Sur. Version 11

CCS vesrion 10. c2000 ware version 3

Can you be more specific with the version numbers? For example, I have the below versions:

CCS 10.3.0

MacOS Big Sur 11.5

CCS 10.1.1   MacOS Big Sur 11.0

Thanks. I tried flashing on my F2837xD target using CCS 10.1.1 running on Big Sur 11.5. I have not run into any issues so far. I will need to escalate the issue to engineering for further analysis. I was pass on any updates as I get them.

Thanks. I flashed it once and after that the program is not loading.

I am able to repeatedly flash the program so I definitely do not see the issue with my test case.

I have contacted engineering for further analysis.

They are configured to flash currently. The hardware is little delicate. Is there any other way I can test it? Thanks

When you try to execute the existing application, do you see any toggle on XRSn? OR Are you able to successfully execute it with no issues?

I programmed flash once but after I connected to MAC the flash is no longer working. So I was only able to program it once. I have the debugger connected at all times. Do you mean that when I try to load programme into flash, I should check the XRS pin?

I am not asking to monitor it when you program again.  You can execute whatever application that you programmed in the first iteration and see how it goes.

The XRS pin is stable. I dont see a toggle on it.

with and without debugger.

Ok.  Please try this:  Try to re-program the same device on windows instead of mac and see how it goes.

Is this your custom board?  

Are both CPUs causing the issue OR only one?

Thanks Vamsi. I have stopped programming from mac and now I am using only windows. It does not get programmed. Both CPU'S have the issue. And yes this is a custom board.

If I change to wait mode, how can I configure the program to load in flash rather than RAM?

Wait-boot allows bootROM to wait in a loop instead of jumping to application execution. This way, device will be in a clean state for emulator to takeover and start flash program operation.

I am able to load with the boot rom mode. Thanks for your help! Now is it advisable to get back to flash mode or should I use wait boot mode throughout?
