Hi Expert,

F28388D is under evaluating on customer side, the application is servo application. Customer has few questions about EtherCAT, could you help on that? Thanks.

1.For F28388D, in addition to EtherCAT, what other industrial protocols F28388D can meet?

2.Could the EtherCAT communication of F28388D meet syn communication?(To achieve CIA402 protocol).

3.For the several core of F28388D, can multiple cores simulate at the same time on emulator？

    Hello Songzhen,

    1. EtherCAT on F28388 is a hard IP (its dedicated to do only EtherCAT from Beckhoff).

    2. Yes it does support CIA402. Pls refer to the example below

     ..\C2000Ware_3_03_00_00\libraries\communications\Ethercat\f2838x\examples\f2838x_cm_cia402_solution

    3. Not sure if I get this completely, but if you intended to ask whether different cores can be debugged simultaneously using the same emulator, then the answer is Yes.
