I use the library provided by TI.  I have reviewed a document SPRUII6.pdf. I have a question about the function of parameter "detection_threshold" in the application.

According to the document, it seems that it is not detection level of the PLC signal. It just use to compare squared summation of sample ADC value of PLC

If it is true, amplitude of PLC analog signal affects how to determine an value of the parameter should be use. Is it correct?

    You're understanding is right about the detection variable, but I don't quite understand your question below if you can explain further.

    The "detection_threshold" should be set so the algorithm can decide whether a Mark or Space signal is being received, then later decides on the received bit.
