Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00915, TMDXIDDK379D, C2000WARE
Hello,
I am inquiring in regards to the software that must exist for the TIDA-00915 reference design. For the reference design to exist it would make sense that there is software that was used for this reference design. Is there a way I can gain access to this software? Is there a way it can be purchased if a third party designed the software for the reference design? I saw in another post:
"Unfortunately there are no publicly released development kits for TIDA-00915. However, you could make some modifications to the tmdxiddk379d code which can be obtained by downloading the C2000 motor SDK. This will require you to find some differences between the two boards - 3 phase PWM should be on the same GPIO00 to GPIO05, but PWM frequency and dead-time need to be changed."
So is using the tmdxiddk379d the best option for a reference software? I was going over this software and I had questions, is there a software description document related to this software? I was not able to find any.
If a TI engineer that is familiar with the TIDA-00915 reference design could reach out to me that would be great, we have already purchased the hardware.
Thank you for your time.
