The issue is actually the inability to change the device variant, correct? I assume you want to change "TMS320F28377D" to "TMS320F28379D"?

The issue is that the project is configured to be a sysconfig project.

For sysconfig projects, you need to change the device variant in the sysconfig file of the project. However, I don't see a sysconfig file in the project. It does not look like this project is an actual sysconfig project. When I set "enableSysConfigTool to "false" and then import the project, the project still builds fine and I am able to change the variant. You can try this workaround. The projectspec for the above project is in:

<C2000WARE INSTALL DIR>\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\adc\CCS\adc_ex2_soc_epwm.projectspec

Question for Ashwini - Is this project supposed to be configured as a SysConfig project? Or was not unintentional?
