TMS320F28035: Support for RTOS on C2000 Using Matlab Simulink Coder

Hello,

I am wondering:

1.) if there exists a way to make use of the free TI-RTOS (or any free RTOS) when using the MATLAB Simulink board support package for C2000 controllers (specifically the 28035).

2.) If the above is possible, are there any examples that could be provided using the the mentioned build chain?

Hi Zak,

Checked on this one with experts. We currently do not support this workflow. Our generated code is meant for bare metal. However, if you can elaborate on the use case, that will help us to dig into details and MAY-BE in a future time, see if we can add support for the same.

Hi again Venkatesh,

Our team is familiar enough with the development tools available to us using the Similink Embedded Coder Support Package for C2000 Processors. We are, however, looking to build more deterministic applications (guarantees about code execution timing). The requirements are not high. We are simply looking to use the existing toolchains we have been making us of while adding on RTOS capability.
