TMS320F280049C: Project Import Error

Part Number: TMS320F280049C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDXIDDK379D

i am getting following error when trying to open existing projects..

  • Hello,

Please provide the exact CCSv10 version being used and the also the three .*project files in the project folder.

    Thanks

    ki

  • CCS Version is  Version: 10.4.0.00006

i tried to import project from motor control sdk..

    C:\Users\sb.rd\Desktop\tmdxiddk379d\f28004x\ccs\sensored_foc

  • i am not able to attach project files.

  • I only see one .*project file. A valid CCS project has three. However, I see a .projectspec file. This file can be imported to create a valid project. I looks like you copied the tmdxiddk379d folder from the Motor Control SDK to your desktop and then tried to import the sensored_foc projectspec into the same location. That may have cased some strange import issue. Please try importing the original projectspec (in the original location) and import it to a different location (like your workspace).

    Thanks

    ki

  • Hi,

i had initially tried the same way as you said (imported from original location Motor Control SDK).

  • i found only two files in ccs folder.

  • Ki is out today.

If I look at a stock MotorControl SDK that .project file is not present.  Ki is likely correct that it got created when previously attempting to import the project.  That folder should just have the .projectspec file.  Think of a .projectspec as a template that CCS reads and then uses that to generate an actual project.

    You could try the following.

    Delete the .project

    Try importing again.

    Regards,

    John
