TMS320F28035: What does the parameter mean, Number of profiling samples to collect?

That parameter setting applies to the real-time code execution profiling using JTAG. It does not have any impact on the PIL profiling which you are referring above. After studying the document you recommended. I think the parameter, Number of profiling to collect, is the total numbers of Call, refer to following,

Am I right?

I run this example on EVB, TMS320F28035 that connects to host pc via USB cable, I fund the total number of Calls is less than 50, why?

By the way, could you tell me how to understand the plot, Estimated Execution Time-line? Could you tell me what' meaning of 1, 2, 3, 4 and P?

Hi Wei,

Number of profiling samples to collect refers to the max number of buffers allocated to store the profiling data, it may not mean that the total number of function calls will be equal to the number of profiling samples to collect.
