Dear C2000 expert,
Currently I plan to use ramp module inside CMPSS to realize slope compensation for PCMC(peak current mode control), is it possible to get RAMPSTS as below picture? What I expect is that the RAMPSTS will be decreased to 0 before the next EPWMSYNPER occurs, and RAMPSTS could be keep to 0 until EPWMSYNPER recieved.
One more question, when does the COMPHSTS be triggered? What's purpose of COMPHSTS to reload RAMPSTS? Is it possible to configure ramp ignore this signal?
Hi Jack,
No, it is not possible to have the rampgen stay at 0 because at some point before it reaches 0, it will trip the comparator which will reset the rampgen.
Can I ask what you are trying to accomplish by having it stay at 0?
The only alternative is to have the rampgen start below the trip point like it is shown in the diagram but I'm not sure of the usefulness of this so maybe you can expand on why you need to do this so we can see if there is another way.
Hi Frank,
Thanks for your suggestion.

I think you're right, it uneccesary to have rampgen stay at 0. I think this is resovled. Thanks...
