TMS320F28069: Control loop running frequency

Part Number: TMS320F28069

Hi

I'm developing a single phase inverter.
In their i use f28069 MCu to do  the control.

PWM frequency is100kHz and mains frequency is 50Hz..

PWM levels available are 900 (Up count mode).  Im using DQ reference frame controllers..

So my question is, what frequency should i run the control loop to obtain good performance?.

Is it 100kHz or less or more?

I have only 900 levels to reproduce the sinewave from negative peak to positive peak.

That means 900 levels spread across 10ms time period. So even if i ran the control loop at 100kHz, it wont change the PWM level that fast. Am i right?

Please correct me if im wrong.

(i was posted this question in the power management forum and they directed me here.  )

Best Regards
