Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who is working with TMS320F2837xD. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

we want to use cryptographic operations on a C2000 (TMS320F2837xD).

However, online available libraries, such as mbedTLS and WolfSSL, do not support a 16 bit architecture - an exception is throwing while compiling because char has not 8 bit.

Do you know which libraries can be used for this controller? We need public key cryptography (ECC, sign, verify) and symmetric encryption (AES).

Hi,

As of today there are no libraries which can support ECC Sign and verify on C2000 core (CM4 core does have support - CycloneCRYPTO | Embedded Crypto Library for STM32, ARM Cortex-M, PIC32 (oryx-embedded.com)). We do have AES support in existing C2KWare release under path \libraries\security\aes. There is an update planned for this library and we are renaming this to crypto library and adding support for SHA256, this updated crypto library for C2000 core will released in october.
