LAUNCHXL-F28379D: SYS/BIOS & IPC Driver : Running into TIMER2 ISR

To my knowledge the IPC drivers don't use the timers. SYS/BIOS will enable timers sometimes to do its Clock tick or or provide Timestamps, so that may be how it's getting enabled at least.

When you say it's running TIMER2_ISR(), you mean the one in F2837xD_DefaultISR.c? Those functions shouldn't be used in a SYS/BIOS application. Instead you should let SYS/BIOS manage interrupts using its Hwi module. Make sure you aren't calling InitPieVectTable() in your code.

Yes, TIMER2_ISR in F2837xD_DefaultISR.c.

If I do not call InitPieVectTable() the control does not reach my Task at all. I run into an error within BIOS_Start

Whitney is the expert in this area...we will look for other domain experts.  In the mean time, is it possible for you to determine the *first point* at which you see the timer interrupts getting enabled?  Is there any configuration you can see/run where you see that interrupts *are not* enabled?  thanks, Krishna
