Running the Flash API from RAM

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28015

Hello,

I use the Flash API v100 for TMS320F28015 in my application. I've compiled the code and if I execute it from CCS4 with my XDS100 it works fine. The Flash memory is erased and afterwards I can receive data on the SCI-A UART and write it to the flash succesfully. Both the Flash API and the SCI-A ISR code is run from RAM.

My problem occurs when I program the Flash memory with the exact same code, turn of the power for the MCU and remove the XDS100. After that I power up the MCU and start the flash programming routine by sending a command on the SCI bus. It seems that the MCU halts before or after the Flash_Erase() function of the API is called. The MCU seems to enter an unknown part of the program memory because I/O ports changes state when the error occurs.

Can anybody tell me what the problem is?
