TMS320F28377D: 3.3V pullup resistor boot mode

Part Number: TMS320F28377D

Hi C2000 team,

Regarding to TMS320F28377D, boot mode, I use GPIO 84 as SCITXDA with the 3.3V pullup resistor. What is pullup resistor value should I use? Would you advise  please? Thank you.

Thanks very much for your help

  • 56k ohms is enough to pull the pin high or low during boot. This pull resistor can also be overpowered by the GPIO buffer if you intend to use the pin after boot.

A stronger resistor can be used if desired, But this is generally not needed unless your system is noisy during boot time.
