Regarding HVMTRPFC Kit.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

Hi,

   In HVMTRPFC kit,

1. what is the maximum current and voltage rating in rms?

2.what is the shape of the current?

3.If i want to run the motor continously, how long this kit can provide the rated output, continously?

4. what is max and min. output frequency  i can achieve?

5.whether F28035 has space vector PWM option?

6.what are protection circuit available in this kit?

Thanks & Regards,

sheik

  • Skeik,

The entire collateral for this kit is available through controlsuite,

    www.ti.com/controlsuite

please download that and go through the HW reference guide and the quick start guide and the schematics, which can be found once controlsuite is installed at

    controlSUITE\development_kits\HVMotorCtrl+PfcKit_v1.6\~Docs

Remember to select HVMTRPFC kit while installing this software,

The document for the hardware of the board are available at

    controlSUITE\development_kits\HVMotorCtrl+PfcKit_v1.6\~HVMotorCtrl+PFC-HWdevPkg\HVMotorCtrl+PFCKit-R5

you can look into the dead times etc of the MOS used to determine the max frequencies,

we ship the kit with code that runs at 10Khz for the motor, 100Khz for the PFC, you can use it for any other frequency switching but you need to test this on your own.

The indvidual projects that ship with pre-tuned motors are found in the same folder.

About the SVGEN, we use the TI DMC library that has a software module to do the SVGEN this provides flexibility in changing modulation techniques,
