TMS320F280049C: Communication between DSPs

Hello,

I am designing a PCB board with 2 DSPs: F280049 and F280021 and communication between them is needed.

Some digital signal and sensed voltage signal will be transmitted between the 2 DSPs.

Which communication should I use to achieve above functions? Is there any hardware design reference or design guide that I can refer to?

You can use any of the communications which are on both devices. SCI, SPI, CAN, FSI, etc.

If it has to be isolated consider how many lines are crossing the isolation boundary.

Look at your data throughput required and select one.

I recommend FSI, its very fast, has hardware integrated error checking, and was designed to work with or without isolation.
